Fleet # 76:
Chartered in 2002, Fleet #76 at the Keuka Yacht Club is one of
two active fleets in New York State. We currently have 7 very
active boats and a few inactive and race back-to-back races at
2:00 p.m. on Sundays.
For those of you who have never been to the Finger Lakes, Keuka
Lake is truly one of the most beautiful lakes in the country.
The water is clean, the scenery is breath-taking and fantastic
NY State wine flows from the hills just above the club. Our MC
fleet is simply an extension of a long heritage of Keuka Lake
scow sailing that started with A scows and continues with a strong
fleet of E scows today.
We will be hosting the 9th Annual MC Nor'Eastern Championships on August 28-29, 2010. See the 2009 NOR Several conversations with other MC sailors confirm that there is interest from several fleets around the country. We are hoping to get at least 20 boats and make this a must-sail regatta on your regatta circuit. Look for our Notice of Race on the MC homepage (www.mcscow.org) soon!
